ALBERT MONREAL QUIHUIS is an award-winning author who wrote his first children’s book to honor his parents and family tradition. At that time he realized the need for multicultural books and became passionate about writing books that motivate and inspire children to learn about their traditions, culture, history and being proud of their heritage. Albert reads aloud in schools, libraries, museums and gives presentations to educators and organizations. Recently Albert has completed “Better Than Me,” his first Young Adult book and for Adults too. Currently, he is writing and researching several historical novels and continues to write his next “Sofia and Pepe the Parrot Adventures Series.”
Prior to writing, Albert was a Financial Advisor, a Certified Financial Planner for 25 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He is a native of Arizona and traces his ancestors to the 1700s in Arizona. Albert is serving or has served on the following Boards of Directors- Arizona Humanities, East Valley Hispanic Business Alliance, Dia Del Los Muertos Festival at the Mesa Art Center, Chandler Mariachi Festival, Chandler Chamber of Commerce, Diversity Committee, Financial Planning Association of Greater Phoenix and the YMCA Chandler-Gilbert.
